About
I am a certified personal trainer in Shreveport, LA. I currently have my bachelor’s degree in Fitness Studies and I am working on my master’s degree in Health Promotion. In addition to personal training I am also experienced in corporate wellness and behavior modification.I obtained my BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness Studies from LSU. I was also blessed with the opportunity to partake in an internship at the Cooper Aerobic Center, where I learned, worked, and shadowed with some of the top leaders in the Fitness industry. I hold a variety of certifications from personal training to biomechanics to nutrition. I also participated in a number of training studies with subjects ranging from athletes to the elderly. In my spare time I enjoy training for fitness competitions such as the Women’s Tri-Fitness held in Las Vegas. I have competed for 3 years, placing in the top 5 in every category within my division.
My training philosophy is to “train for tomorrow so that we can truly experience life”. I enjoy helping others reach their health and fitness goals and I am very excited for the opportunity to bring my passion, knowledge, experience, and services to my clients.
I train clients in a variety of settings and locations, and even at their own homes. I also teach classes, lead bootcamps, and train at Speed Works in Shreveport, LA. Please call me at (318) 402-4973 or click here to email me.
